Welcome, I’m Apeksha Shah.
Every artist has a story, and this is mine. My journey began long before I picked up a palette knife or created my first resin piece.
Growing up, creativity was woven into everyday life. Inspired by my mother, I explored fabric painting, sketching, oil painting, crochet, and countless handmade crafts. Art became my favorite way to express emotions, slow down, and discover beauty in ordinary moments.
As life evolved, my path led me into a different profession. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration before pursuing a Master's degree. After moving to the United States, I built a career helping individuals and families navigate life's emotional challenges.
Although mental health and psychotherapy became my profession, art never left my heart.
Over the years, I realized that creating art brought the same healing, mindfulness, and sense of presence that I encouraged in my clients. Painting became more than a creative hobby—it became a way to reconnect with myself, embrace imperfection, and celebrate joy.
That realization inspired the birth of Apeksha Artistry.
I create original mixed media artwork, textured paintings, classical oil landscapes, resin art, alcohol ink pieces, watercolor and acrylic works, Lippan art, handcrafted décor, and edible botanical creations. Every piece is thoughtfully designed to bring depth, texture, and warmth into everyday spaces, transforming homes into inspiring environments that celebrate beauty, craftsmanship, and personal expression.
Alongside creating original artwork, I enjoy teaching art workshops for children, teens, and adults. My classes encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence, making art accessible to artists of every experience level. I believe art isn't about perfection—it's about expression, exploration, and finding joy in the creative process.
My journey continues to evolve with every canvas, every workshop, and every new idea. My hope is that each artwork and every class inspires others to slow down, embrace creativity, and discover the meaningful connection that art can bring into their lives.
